Part of my dereliction of blogging duties in the past month has been the small task of amassing a bevvy, or whatever the collective noun is for this, of speakers for this year's Think08 conference - there's about 80 of them, including bloggers Casey and Robert Kyriakides. I've tried to attach the latest brochure document here, but to no avail - you can download it here. So what's this year's Think show all about?
Well, I'm hoping that the conference is far from the talking shop of platitudes and generalisations that such events run the risk of becoming. The line-up is more doers and implementors than celebrity types. So while the discussion and debate will be strategic and cross sectors I see it as offering practical help as well. And the range of speakers, from engineers to architects, clients to surveyors, manufactuers to investors and regenerators should make for interesting discussions.
I'd welcome any feedback on the show as I'm continually tweaking/developing it.
