So says Portakabin subsidiary Yorkon who has just carried out tests on a variety of its buildings. The tests show its steel-framed modular technology "can achieve a higher degree of precision, leading to improved thermal efficiency, lower running costs and reduced carbon emissions". "There are no wet trades so shrinkage and stuctural movement after the building has been sited are also highly unlikely," adds Yorkon director and general manager David Johnson.
